CSS and CARP design

For this project, we got to transform a plain and boring poem into a decorative and colorful one. This assignment started off with the simple poem. It was a white background with black txt in the default font. Then we gave it a background color and started changing the type. We bolded and italicized, changed the color, font, and size. In the end, everything really came together.

Contrast

At first, there wasn't a lot of contrast in the poem design. When we changed it though, we added lots of contrast. We made the background color light tan and used a dark tan for the text color. Behind the light tan, there was black which contrasted well.

Alignment

We didn't really need to change the alignment much. All we did was center Heading 1 and Heading 2. The rest of it stayed left aligned. The alignment looked very clean cut and everything went well together.

Repetition

There was a decent amount of repetition in this assignment. The dark tan text color repeated four different times. The font stayed the same pretty much throughout the whole assignment. The repetition made it all look finished and final.

Proximity

The proximity, or grouping, of this assignment was very obvious. Header 1 was bigger then Header 2 and Header 2 was bigger then the body. You can clearly tell what gets grouped with what. The paragraphs are even separated enough to tell what goes together.

My Personality Type

My Myers-Briggs personality is ESFP. This means that I am a very outgoing person who acts on what I feel is right, rather then thinking. I work well in groups and like to make things happen. I am flexible and can deal well with change. A famous person who shares my personality type is Marilyn Monroe.

I can confidently say that the description of a ESFP fits me perfectly. When it says that I am "outgoing, friendly an accepting", it's spot on. I go out go my way to make people feel included and I make friends easily. It also says that I focus on facts and details rather than ideas and concepts. This isn't always true. I don't always just go off of what's proven. I search for new ideas and ways to make something better. My personally type helps me to understand how to work better with myself and others.

My personality type is the kind of person who will always be there to make you laugh. This is very important on a team because sometimes it's ok to have fun and ESFPs lighten the mood. I am the jokester in my family, not really focusing on one the in specific, but multiple things. I am the main source of laughter in my family and I can always cheer someone up. Sometimes people don't like me because I am pretty energetic and happy and they don't like that. I work well with nearly everyone except of people more outgoing then I am. when people are more outgoing then me, we can't work very well together because we both talk a lot, and we continually try to talk over each other and don't listen to each other.

Throughout this assignment, I learned more about myself. I always knew that I was happy and outgoing person but I learned that I go with my gut rather then thinking about it. I focus on facts rather then ideas, which I never would have known if I hadn't taken the quiz. I learned a lot about myself.

My LOBG personality type was an otter. I am a very outgoing and talkative person and that's what the otter was. They are the people who keep the group talking and working together. I definitely believe that this is me because I always break the ice in a group.
